FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
Concierge medicine is a membership-based approach to healthcare that puts the focus back where it belongs—on you. Rather than managing thousands of patients, each physician cares for a small group of members, allowing for more time, attention, and deeply personalized care.
Members pay an annual or monthly fee that provides access to exclusive benefits such as same-day appointments, 24/7 direct communication with your doctor, and longer, unhurried visits. With fewer limitations from insurance, your physician can dedicate their time fully to your health—focusing on prevention, wellness, and a true partnership in your care.
In essence, concierge medicine offers convenience, continuity, and a level of care designed to fit seamlessly into your life.
At Royal Palm Concierge Medicine, we offer an exclusive level of care that truly sets us apart from traditional healthcare systems. By limiting the number of patients each physician serves, our doctors are able to provide the time, attention, and top-tier medical care you deserve.
Unlike conventional practices, we don’t allow insurance companies to dictate your care. Instead, we focus on building lasting relationships founded on trust, accessibility, and genuine partnership.
Appointments are never rushed — with two-hour initial visits and one-hour follow-ups, we take the time to fully understand your health goals and craft a plan that’s truly personal. Our dedicated team ensures every detail of your experience is seamless, while our serene office environment is designed for your comfort and peace of mind.
Join us and experience a higher standard of medicine — one that’s centered entirely around you.
No, not at all. As a valued member of our concierge practice, you’ll enjoy unlimited access to your physician — whether through in-person visits, phone calls, text messages, or emails — all covered by one all-inclusive annual fee. And unlike traditional healthcare models, you’ll never have to worry about copays or unexpected charges.
It’s important to understand that our concierge medicine service is not a substitute for health insurance. While we do not bill insurance for our care, we require all members to maintain active health insurance to cover expenses such as diagnostic testing, specialist visits, medications, hospitalizations, and emergency care.
Absolutely — we’re happy to arrange a personal meet-and-greet upon request. This visit offers you the opportunity to connect with your physician, discuss your expectations, and ensure that our practice is the right fit for your needs. Please note that this meeting is intended solely for compatibility purposes and does not include medical services.
Absolutely! Royal Palm Concierge Medicine proudly provides personalized primary care for patients ages 12 and older, offering the same attentive, high-quality care to both teens and adults alike.
We accept all major credit cards, as well as FSA and HSA payments. Membership fees may be paid monthly, quarterly, or annually, with a three-month nonrefundable minimum commitment.
We’re committed to providing you and your family with exceptional, preventive-focused healthcare, built on a strong and lasting physician–patient relationship. Because this level of connection and understanding takes time to develop, a single office visit isn’t sufficient to provide the depth of care we believe you deserve.
Your initial visit is a comprehensive two-hour appointment, allowing us to gain a complete understanding of your health history, goals, and unique needs. Once your personalized care plan is in place, follow-up appointments are typically scheduled for one hour, giving ample time for thoughtful discussion, treatment, and follow-up.
For added convenience, we also offer telemedicine and phone consultations whenever your needs can be addressed remotely.
Currently, we do not offer in-office medication dispensing.
We’re pleased to offer telemedicine appointments for your convenience. However, we prefer that initial and annual physical exams be completed in person, to ensure a thorough and accurate assessment. Depending on your specific needs, follow-up visits may be conducted virtually. In some cases, though, certain symptoms or concerns may require an in-person evaluation to allow your physician to perform a complete physical examination.
If you decide to discontinue your membership, you may do so at any time with 30 days’ written notice prior to the cancellation date. Please note that the first 90 days of membership are nonrefundable.
We do not bill insurance directly for our services, as our practice operates on a concierge membership model. However, your labs, imaging, and specialist visits can still be billed through your health insurance.
It’s important to note that if you have HMO, Tricare Prime, or Medicaid, we’re unable to accommodate those plans because they do not allow us to submit orders for labs, imaging, or referrals. Unfortunately, this makes those plans incompatible with our practice.
